Ultimate Power Assistant is a computer power management program that combines key capabilities into a single window. The interface is dark, divided into tabs, and simple to browse.

Features:
- There is a built-in scheduler that lets you schedule shutdowns, reboots, sleeps, hibernations, and sign-outs.
- You set the time and then forget about it; if you change your mind, you can always cancel the assignment.
- There’s an interesting function called download monitoring. Let’s assume you’re downloading something large overnight; the program watches the operation and shuts off the computer automatically when it’s finished. There’s no need to sit and wait; go to bed, and the computer will handle it.
- It can remotely reboot and shut down computers connected to a local network, which is essential if you have multiple devices at home or at work.
- There is a mode that prohibits the computer from going to sleep, shutting off the screen, or starting a screensaver. This is useful if you are being observed at work or want to prevent the machine from falling asleep during a long task.
The package contains a process killer, a scheduler, and a power plan switcher. The latter can monitor running processes and automatically modify the power plan. Laptops are a separate issue; the software can alter power plans as the battery runs low.
You may get Ultimate Power Assistant for free from us; the archive contains an activation key or crack for the full version.
As an alternative, you can use Wise Auto Shutdown, a simpler tool that merely schedules shutdowns and does not include any power plans or load monitoring.
