Vovsoft Tree Notes is a little software that comes in handy when I have more ideas than free browser tabs. I place material in a tree view, construct nested nodes, and quickly navigate between sections. The editor lets you use bold, italics, underlining, bullet points, and font formatting to keep your notes and logs neat. The complete bundle is saved in a single file; I have a copy on a flash drive, and there is a direct link to the free program on our website.
I like that the database is offline, the search is quick, and branches collapse like directories, which reduces eye strain. A mobile client and collaborative editing are lacking, and the starting time for large files is slightly slower, but it’s manageable. However, these are all demands that could be granted if the installation file were larger; otherwise, it’s a piece of cake and perfectly adequate.
The appearance is undeniably drab, and the interface is mediocre, but if you prioritize features over frills and whistles, it makes no difference. Unfortunately, I do not see Russian support, but it may be added in the future. The settings are limited, and there isn’t much to say about the software.
I tested it for an hour, and the hotkeys worked flawlessly. The software is convenient because it saves time.
