The most recent software version utilized in all of the company’s Dorico series products is Steinberg Dorico 6. The objective is to use optimized workflows to expedite and enhance the process from inspiration to completed composition.
The updated version makes it easier to adjust MIDI performances to the score by adding a key editor in recording mode. The view is continuously synchronized for a better overview.
Intelligent track interpretation is made possible by new, robust MIDI import methods. Additionally, they have the ability to store user choices for subsequent imports, giving the user direct access to them.
The updated version also has an enhanced insert mode. For instance, there is now an editable stop position. Any modifications made after this are immediately overwritten rather than being moved.
Three new on-screen instruments are added by Steinberg Dorico: drum pads, a fretboard, and an on-screen keyboard. For Windows devices, an appropriate touchscreen is also implemented.
