USBDeview is a sophisticated tool for viewing the history of all of your USB devices. It was a long time ago that I decided to add a useful but small program. It displays a complete list of all devices currently stuck in your PC’s ports or previously connected to it. It doesn’t matter whether we’re talking about a flash drive, an old mobile phone, a scanner, a printer, or a modem; the software will find everything and display detailed statistics on the screen.
USBDeview is available for free download in Russian, with a 64-bit version.
What it can do:
- Displays a list of active and old USB connections, including the time and date of the previous connection.
- identifies the type of equipment and its unique serial number.
- Search for drivers using the hardware manufacturer’s ID. Save results and logs in HTML, XML, or plain text format.
The author is NirSoft, a well-known company that offers excellent system utilities. The program lets you view statistics and disable or remove devices directly from your interface. Many sysadmins will also welcome command-line functionality and the ability to connect to remote computers over a local network.
The program does not require installation, can be run from any flash drive, and, most importantly, does not modify the system registry or leave any junk behind.
Who will be useful?
NU for system administrators is a popular issue for controlling who and what disks are installed on the work computer. Also, to keep the system organized, ordinary users should uninstall old drivers for long-discarded scanners or mice.

I quickly remembered USB Oblivion, a powerful and robust tool designed to completely eradicate all traces of flash devices from the Windows registry.
Do not forget about the normal Device Manager; it is always available, but it is still enjoyable to search for hidden devices there.
