EF Commander is a two-panel file manager in the style of Total Commander. It’s an ancient and well-tested program, yet it has its own unique features and interface. Aside from ordinary file operations, it provides so many capabilities that you could easily uninstall half of the applications on your computer.

- The archiver supports over 20 archive types, including text and HEX editors, an integrated FTP client, disk burning, checksum verification, and folder synchronization.
- The program utilizes minimal resources and has little impact on RAM. If you require additional image-viewing capabilities, you can use other programs such as IrfanView or XnView.
There are no issues with FTP. You must first connect to it, after which you can operate with conventional folders. The only limitation is that if you use FTPES, you will need to download additional libraries; this is a one-time step. You may divide and reassemble files, ping connections, and stop processes all from the manager.
