Chaos Corona 14.1.2 for 3DS Max 2018 – 2027

Chaos Corona 15 is an architectural visualization renderer that can be used as a 3ds Max or Cinema 4D plugin. As a beginner, I appreciated the simple settings; the default parameters already produce a decent image, rather than the gray mess that comes with other add-ons. It literally takes an evening to master, after which all that remains is adjusting the lighting and accepting the results.

Chaos Corona 15 is activated with a patch or crack (which is included in the archive). No further license is necessary; you may obtain it for free from us.

The CPU-based engine produces physically based images, making it an excellent choice for both interior and exterior photography, including product photography. The materials meet PBR standards, the caustics are accurate, and the reflections and refractions appear realistic. The buffer includes post-processing, so curves and highlights can be adjusted without launching Photoshop, which is convenient because it eliminates the need to launch anything else.

Among the tools, Scatter for planting grass and trees provides good results; LightMix for selecting lighting after rendering also changes its own features; generative clouds; Tile Map for tiles; and Gaussian splats. In short, there’s a lot of interesting stuff to learn while working. The interactive mode displays changes immediately, removing the need to adjust the illumination and then test it later.

The Cosmos library includes more than 20,000 models and an HDRI sky, as well as 3,100 scanned elements with parameter modifications. Anima is used to create animated people, crowds, and traffic, after which you can shoot a flyover.

Neurofeatures are critical because they generate material and idea variants directly from the frame, extract PBR textures from standard surface pictures, enhance vegetation and huge surfaces, and upscale the image effectively. The scene is run in real time via a live connection to Chaos Vantage.

In version 15, we increased support for Deadline and Backburner rendering elements and animation maps, as well as fixes for crashes caused by faulty Corona Physical materials and unlicensed games.

Pros:

  • Perform accurate calculations on the processor without using the video card.
  • LightMix allows you to adjust the lighting after rendering.
  • A library with 20,000 models and skies
  • Animate people, crowds, and machinery with frame upscaling of two to four times.
  • Vantage Connection for Live Stage Presentation

Alternatives:

V-Ray – more flexible in terms of fine-tuning, but the entry threshold is substantially greater. Essentially, it’s a matter of preference.
Blender with Cycles is free and supports on-GPU rendering; however, it lacks libraries such as Cosmos.

Answers to questions:

Do you need a strong GPU?
The CPU is more crucial than everything else. Will old scenes from previous versions open?
Yes, materials are converted, but sometimes you’ll be asked to double-check the lighting.
