FlowJo is software used to analyze flow cytometry data. If you’re not in this profession, you don’t need it, but for those working in laboratories, research, or clinical diagnostics, it’s a hot issue and industry standard. This program is the principal tool for processing flow cytometry findings, which are used to detect blood illnesses, conduct oncology and immunology research, and support other applications.

You can get FlowJo for free here; the crack or activation key is included in the archive.
- The design is highly user-friendly, including a workspace and a ribbon menu with tabs for switching between tasks.
- You may tailor the panels to your tastes and highlight the functions you use the most.
- Samples and groups are dragged and dropped directly onto the workspace using the mouse, eliminating the need to browse through menus.
- The Groups section lets you arrange your samples in the correct order for analysis.
- Right-clicking on a sample gives you access to the group settings, name, color, font, and inclusion criteria.
- For each sample, you may add keywords and statistics, view the data in a 3D visualization that can be rotated in space, or combine many files into one.
FlowJo includes powerful gating tools. The tool allows you to systematically generate cell subsets, removing extraneous data one by one until you have only the desired populations for analysis or charting. The statistics section computes population frequency, coefficient of variation, and median fluorescence intensity—all critical cytometry metrics.
FlowJo supports all FCS formats, works with compensation matrices, and can generate a wide range of graph types, including typical histograms, scatter plots, and contour maps. Each function includes built-in help and tooltips.
