UltraFTP is a tool designed for website owners or anyone who wishes to upload files using FTP, SFTP, or FTPS. After launching, you must establish a fresh connection. To accomplish this, you must specify the project name, the connection IP address, the port, the logs, and the password. Once connected, you can interact with the remote server.
The software is integrated with the author’s other tools, UltraEdit and UEStudio. Overall, I didn’t find anything new or intriguing in this application, as I’m used to another one, and it offers no functional advantages. Russian support is also missing. I did not do enough research on the program and missed some key aspects.
Peculiarities:
- Tabs let you easily switch between connections.
- There is a distinct separation between remote and local watching.
- To transfer files, drag and drop them into the selected connection.
- Rewrite rules can be defined individually for each server.
- You can design many transfer and connection templates, each of which can be customised in detail.
- If the format is supported, it includes a preview mode.
- The application supports FTP, SFTP, and FTPS.
- Activating UltraFTP is simple: the archive consists of a crack and instructions; read and follow them all.
- There is no official Russian version, which is an issue for some people; there are too many parameters to edit, and I haven’t found a good Russifier yet.
- The interface is comfortable, and the dark theme is constantly enjoyable because it does not strain your eyes too much.
- Tight integration with other corporate applications.
