SHAPE HARMONIC ENERGY WITH SATURUM. Saturium is a refined harmonic saturation plugin that prioritizes depth, balance, and control. It combines classic valve coloration with a modern dual-engine design, giving producers and mastering engineers precise control over how harmonics evolve in a mix. Rather than focusing on loudness or distortion, Saturium is designed to improve tone integrity and perceived richness while maintaining dynamic structure. WHAT IS SATURIUM? Saturium’s fundamental goal is to sculpt harmonic character precisely. The plugin mimics the natural compression and warmth of analog saturation while preserving clarity and transient detail. It can be used as a subtle enhancer on a voice or master bus, or as a harmonic driver to form a whole mix with organic density.
The Tube engine provides the traditional smoothness and warmth of valve circuitry, whilst the Flux engine responds faster and has a more dynamic, modern edge. The Blend control enables a continuous transition between the two worlds, providing complete control over the harmonic response. CONTROL THE CHARACTER OF DRIVE The Drive control determines how much energy enters the harmonic engine, which is automatically balanced by the built-in Auto Gain system to ensure that comparisons are fair and level. Bias modifies the tube stage’s response curve and headroom, influencing the distribution of harmonics across the spectrum. The Focus option determines which region of the frequency spectrum is most sensitive to saturation, allowing you to target low, mid, or high harmonics. When additional intensity is required, Punish mode enhances drive density for a tighter, more explosive sound while maintaining overall tone control—a modern take on analog balance. Saturium provides full stereo awareness, with dedicated modes for Mid, Side, and Stereo operations. This versatility enables you to add harmonic coloration precisely where it is required. Mid mode maintains a tight and centered focus, making it perfect for vocals, drums, and the master bus. In Side mode, the harmonic content is applied to the outer stereo field, subtly increasing width and spatial depth while maintaining the stereo balance. Stereo mode processes all channels equally, resulting in a unified, natural feel. The Tone control adjusts the overall harmonic brightness and color, making it simple to tailor the response to varied materials or mastering objectives. This technique combines the musicality of analog behavior with the precision of digital design, providing both creative and corrective control in a single streamlined interface.
