I found an interesting program and thought I’d share it with you. KS DB Merge Tools for Oracle helps you quickly compare and synchronize two Oracle databases. I launched it and saw two windows: I placed one database on the left, the other on the right, entered the server, port, username, and password, clicked “test,” and the connection was established. You can connect using a connection string if you’re too lazy to enter the fields.
The program pulls in schemas and objects, compares tables, columns, constraints, views, procedures, functions, and sequences, and highlights color differences. Then I drag and drop changes in any direction and commit them, keeping the databases up to date. Filters show only new or recently changed data, and you can check a specific table or the entire set of views. The speed is impressive; the engine doesn’t lag even on complex schemas.

The interface is straightforward, all buttons are visible, and even a simpleton can figure it out, but there are few hotkeys, no console output, and it only writes logs to a file, which is a downside. The comparison is based on directly reading data through the Oracle system dictionary, meaning no triggers or permissions will produce false results. Reports are saved in XML, HTML, and Excel and then sent to the team lead without copying and pasting.
In the settings, I ignore service columns like sys_created and status, saving time during releases. You can enable read-only mode to prevent a newbie from syncing unnecessary data. The script rollback wizard is included in the paid edition; the free version is limited in this area and in multi-window mode, but for my needs, this isn’t critical.
The connection window stores only the history of 5 records, so I have to clear it manually. There’s no Russian interface, although the prompts are clear. During a brief test, I experienced no freezes, the data was intact, and the flow was clear. The direct download links for the cracked program are located at the bottom of the article. The installation is clean, the registry is not filled with unauthorized keys, and uninstalling goes smoothly.
