A little tool for working with panoramic photos is called Bixorama. It allows you to add different projections, effects, and transforms, and to transform them between formats. Although it’s a specialised tool, it’s excellent for working with panoramas, and I’m sure you’ll find it useful. After installing and launching it, you’re set to go. One advantage for the creators is that no initial setup is necessary.
Bixorama is available for free download from our link. Depending on your luck, the archive contains either a crack or an activation key.
With a preview window built directly next to the toolbar at the top, the interface is simple. Although it’s still manageable, it isn’t very user-friendly; I think bigger buttons with icons would be better.
Don’t worry, it supports all major panoramic formats, including MOV, DDS, and others. Note that MOV files with compressed headers will not open in Apple QuickTime VR.
The effects and projections appealed to me. Applying latitude-longitude, stripes, a heart-shaped projection, a sphere map, a mirror ball, and horizontal and vertical crosses are all possible. Projections are a great way to create VR material or interactive panoramas for websites without having to deal with complex editing software.
You can adjust the file name system, output resolution, JPG quality, and foreground and background colours in the options. For each effect, you can also adjust the contrast, texture scale, and borders.
A similar software package, Pano2VR, is more capable, exports to HTML5, supports more formats, and can build interactive tours. Another option is Hugin, which is open source and totally free. Its interface is an acquired taste, and its main focus is assembling panoramas from multiple photographs rather than converting pre-existing ones.
