Sante PACS Server is a tried-and-true DICOM server that also acts as a Modality Worklist, web server, and disc burner. The program integrates smoothly with nearly all medical equipment, including CT, MRI, and X-ray. A built-in viewer enables smooth image viewing. If you need your own cloud for DICOM files, the program can handle it as well. This news post contains a link to a free download of Sante PACS Server, which includes everything you need to activate the complete edition.

The creators have introduced five helpful tools; let’s become acquainted:
- The migration tool was built to make the transition from old systems easier; it runs as an extra program and does not load the primary server.
- The forwarding module sends studies to another server on a timetable, while the receiving module collects data from various sources.
- Routing rules will help set up the server to distribute incoming photos to doctors’ workstations automatically.
- Auto-burning software for CDs and DVDs can print covers in addition to writing data.
The functionality is extensive, and I value the ability to automate repeated tasks. I’m not a doctor, so this type of software is uncommon at our hospitals; still, saving time is usually beneficial.
