DiskInternals Linux Reader is a free, simple program that allows users to access Linux partitions (Ext2, Ext3, and other formats) from Windows.
You can get DiskInternals Linux Reader from the link below.
The program has a straightforward interface that closely mimics the regular Windows Explorer, making it simple to locate files on external drives. Upon launch, the software immediately scans the system and displays all hard drives and partitions, regardless of the operating system on which they were created.
The app opens any partition, displays its contents, and extracts files to the desktop. It is compatible with Linux file systems in strict read mode. The application physically turns off write access to prevent Windows from accidentally altering access permissions or data on the source device.
Furthermore, the program may generate accurate photographs of whole disks and mount existing virtual images for display. As a bonus, the developers provided a built-in Hex viewer.

Key Features:
- Viewing files in Linux volumes from Windows
- Create backup disk images and mount existing virtual files.
- Built-in Hex viewer
- Safe reading mode protects source data from harm.
Looking at competitors, I recall Paragon ExtFS for Windows, a superb commercial driver that integrates into the system while providing complete read and write access. There’s also Ext2Fsd, which is free but hasn’t been updated in a while.
