The Document Foundation created LibreOffice, an excellent office suite. It’s a long-running application that began as a fork of OpenOffice in 2010, shortly after Oracle acquired Sun Microsystems. Almost all of the application’s developers migrated to the new project, making it the most popular open-source office suite. Its Free status indicates that no money is required, and it can be used commercially.
LibreOffice in Russian is available via the links below. The most recent versions are available, including portable versions. They do not require a complete installation; unzip and get started. No activation is necessary, and the editor is entirely free.
This package includes Writer, a user-friendly, intuitive, and simple-to-use Word-like editor. Russian language support is offered, and documents can be opened in a variety of formats. Try it yourself; I believe you will figure it out. You can also install Calc, an Excel-like editor, on the machine. Creating tables is just as simple; you may write your own formulas, change existing tables, and so on.
Impress is another excellent alternative to PowerPoint. I tried producing presentations in it a while back and had no issues. You can add content by dragging it into the main window, apply effects, and so forth. There isn’t much else to say about Base, which is an excellent alternative to Access. Draw is a vector graphics editor that may replace Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and other tools. I haven’t used it myself, but some folks are really pleased with it. Math is a good equation editor.
That’s basically all there is to say about LibreOffice. You have the broad notion, and now you can determine whether this suite is perfect for you. Just keep in mind that you do not need to register the included programs, there is Russian support, and LibreOffice is significantly lighter than its well-known Microsoft counterpart, so decide for yourself what you require.
The spreadsheet feature is handy if you need to make simple calculations that are too complicated for a basic calculator. For more sophisticated users, there are numerous powerful functions and formulas to consider.
