Active@ UNERASER is a file recovery application. If you accidentally deleted something vital or formatted a partition, don’t worry; you can recover it all. It works with any hardware, including IDE, SATA, SSD, USB flash drives, memory cards, and other storage media.
It is also compatible with HFS and Linux-based ExtFS/BtrFS. It is compatible with legacy systems such as DOS and Windows 95, as well as newer operating systems. There are several scanning modes available.
A quick scan will reveal files and directories that were recently removed.
SuperScan mode is helpful if you are not in a rush and need to assess damaged volumes thoroughly.
The LastChance option lets you find files by signature.
You may use filters to find deleted files, such as documents, MP3s, videos, and images. You can also search by date or size. The preview option is handy; the software lets you view photographs or document contents before recovery to see whether they are clearer.
Among the other features, I’d like to emphasise the automatic backup tool, which allows you to roll back modifications if something goes wrong. The application can also repair broken MBR or GPT files, recover boot sectors, and create virtual RAID arrays.
Professionals can use the built-in disk editor. It allows you to explore physical disk sectors, analyse file headers, and display data in HEX format.
